About Us
The Story
The original idea of winalab was in the beginning a written strategy paper by Christoph P. Thomas Mann (2021) for building a co-working community lifestyle brand in urban and rural environments. For adventure activities in nature, Christoph teamed up with Georg and Mackenzie Bergthaler of Wild Nasswald, an outdoor adventure company located between Rax and Schneeberg in the heart of the Viennese Alps. Then Werner Schmid decided to join the project as co-founder in the beginning of 2022 during a workation with Wildnasswald team. In April and May, we collaborated with the talent pool of globalschool.xyz (project of opt2o.org) for the branding and CI as well as with experts to setup the website development. The brand book was designed by Peter Visnovec and Samuel Horansky. The first winalab workation is planned for September 12 to 15 at the Raxkönig in Nasswald, Austria.
